Job Title: Conservation Landscaping Crew Lead

Location: State College, PA
Pay: $24+/hour (based on experience & qualifications (e.g. CDL)
Schedule: 35-40 hours per week, seasonally March- December. Part time in winter.

Job Responsibilities
As a crew lead you are in charge of the daily operations of your crew of 2-4 and capable of independently performing a wide range of tasks. Initially this role will be a mix of construction and maintenance, with the plan to tilt one way or the other eventually.
Be a natural leader and champion of company culture. Knowledge of native and sustainable landscaping practices is preferred.
Able to operate small equipment, trailers, and hand tools commonly used in landscaping.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
Maintain a clean and organized job site and vehicle and proactively maintain company equipment.
Provide excellent customer service and always represent Bee Kind professionally.
Ideal Candidate
Must have a variety of landscaping experience.
Enjoys working outdoors and in hands-on environments.
Has a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Is interested in native plants, conservation, and ecological landscaping (experience is a plus but not required if you are trainable).
Can work independently and as part of a small crew (we usually work two person crews, sometimes three).
Is comfortable with physical labor and working in all weather conditions.
Holds a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Schedule
Flexible Schedule: 3-5 days per week, no OT. No Sundays. We strive for a 4x10 type schedule when weather allows.
Seasonal work: Primary work season runs from March through December, with possible winter opportunities in our land management business. We do not plow snow.
