Environmental Landscaping is Backyard Conservation

What it is:

Environmental landscaping focuses on sustainable, eco-friendly designs that enhance biodiversity while achieving resouce efficiency. This approach prioritizes native plants, adaptive design, and soil health.

Why it matters:

  • Reduces chemical and water use

  • Supports local wildlife

  • Creates resilient landscapes with less maintenance

How we do it:

Everyday we live it. We assess your property’s natural conditions and design a landscape that works with nature, not against it. Our plans include low maintenance, pest and drought resistant plants, changing climatic design considerations, recycle, resource, and reuse, and natural habitat features for our wildlife friends.

Derivatives, styles, and similar concepts. We point these out to help relate to terms that can be unclear, ambiguous, and overlapping in our field.

Rain Gardens, pollinator gardens, meadows, wildlife habitat landscaping, xeriscaping, regenerative landscaping, etc.
