Who are the Silver Fox Lawn Experts?
My wife thinks the silver fox name is weird, so it lives in the shadows of our Bee Kind Landcapes brand. There are memes or something about silver foxes and older guys. I don’t know, that sounds weird to me. I live offline though.
Ok, for business reasons, we wanted our lawn care and landscaping services to have unique brand identities from the start.
One day, in the fall of 2024, as I was watching the latest PSU-OSU abomination on my phone, I started drifting away. I was pondering branding for a lawn service that is detailed and meticulous. Seeing the damages done by lawn crews that race around like a nascar pit crew, I wanted to reflect that our brand is the opposite of that.
Right then, a rare melanistic form of the red fox, a silver fox, skirted through my view. Just for a second.
There we were, both on the hunt, and it was like God spoke to me. Thinking immediately of the cunning and meticulous nature of the fox, and the rarity of the melanistic silver fox, a brand was born in a fateful instant.
Silver Fox Lawn Experts hereby represents that no silver foxes are on our mowing crews. You’d think people would know that foxes don’t have thumbs to operate our mowers.

And also, the reason the Silver Fox division lives in the shadows right now: limited capacity. We just provide lawn mowing in some neighborhoods close to us, and we’re pretty close to capacity for the 2025 season. That’s really why we keep it pretty low-key. We’re beta testing if we want to expand fully into lawn care for the 2026 season.
